Laut enters his sixth season on the Lafayette coaching staff and his third as assistant head coach and recruiting coordinator. Laut is responsible for a wide variety of jobs, including recruiting and on-field coaching. Since arriving at Lafayette, Laut has been a part of four winning seasons, including a 2005 Patriot League Championship.

Laut came to College Hill from Assumption College in Worcester, Mass., where he served as the head men’s coach for three seasons and became the third-winningest coach in the history of the program. Laut guided the 2001 team to the Northeast-10 playoffs and a semifinal appearance in the ECAC Championships. A 2000 graduate of Assumption, Laut won the team’s special contribution award as a senior.

Laut holds USSF National "B" and Youth License and has served as a staff coach at several soccer camps and was the director of Assumption’s soccer camp.
